As you may already know, the lack of posts is due to the lack of progress on the house. We thought we would have been breaking ground by now!
Unfortunately we have been suffering from a few delays that will hopefully go away with time. So the house is now in limbo. With patience we can perhaps end up with a brand new house on the lower section of the lot (by the barn) so we don't have to worry about updating such an older house. We'd be further away from the road and can build the house we want. To not be boxed in by the prior foundation would be very liberating. But this option comes with a cost. We need to have a longer timeline. This blog may have been started with the intention of it running it's course in less than a year. Well we might just be around for a bit longer.
