Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Erin and I have plenty to be thankful for this year. Perhaps the freshest in our minds would be the fact that the sold the house on 31st last week (finally)! While we are still not quite moving forward with our Windcrest property just yet, the fact we sold the old house means we are one step closer to making Windcrest a reality.
Next on our list is to talk again with bankers and contractors now that we have sold the house. Hopefully the market has improved and banks are willing to play ball. It's just a matter of time before we are moving forward with getting the property updated!
As a side note, we smoked a turkey today that didn't kill any of the
Schlect clan today. We started the bird in a brine on Monday night and
started smoking this morning:
I of course didn't take a picture of the finished product, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. When Windcrest is finished we may have to have a BBQ to break the house in and we'll recreate some smoked turkey to celebrate!
Until next time, have a great Thanksgiving!
Love,
Fred & Erin
